Basic Travel Requirements for Indonesians visiting United States of America

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a American Visa.


  • A DS-160 online nonimmigrant visa application form (This is to be completely filled online). 
  • A printed copy of the confirmation page of the visa application form (VAC).
  • An original passport with a 6 months validity beyond the arrival date in the US.
  • Old passports (In case of former travels).
  • Both digital and hardcopy of the applicant's passport photograph. One of each photo is required.
  • Proof of visa application payment (This is a proper receipt for the application).
  • A printout of the US interview appointment at the embassy. 
  • Supporting documents specific to each kind of visa you are applying for.
  • Proof of financial stability to stay for the intended period of time in the U.S.
  • Proof of accommodation for the period you will be staying in the country.
  • Proof of intended repatriation to your origin country.
