Basic Travel Requirements for Ivorians visiting Ireland

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Irish Visa.


  • A valid Ivorian International Passport with at least 6months validity with two or more blank pages for visa sticker on your passport.
  • Two(2) current photograph-sized photos with white background.
  • The photocopy of your passport full pages, like 1-32 pages must be produced.
  • Travel medical insurance with a minimum coverage of 30,000 Euro. 
  • Bank account statement for the last 6months duly endorsed by the Bank.
  • Police clearance certificate.
  • Proof of hotel reservation you want to stay in Ireland or private accommodation from your person in Ireland. 
  • Photocopies of all previous visas in your passport.
  • Evidence of flight bookings, indicating the airline, departure and arrival dates.
  • Written statement for visiting.
  • An under-age person travelling alone or accompanied by a guardian must present:
    • Original birth certificate
    • Consent letter from both parents
    • Attach the parent's identity card photocopy or data page of their passports
    • The visa application form must be signed by the guardian.
  • Ivorian applicants for Ireland visa should apply in neighbouring countries where Ireland has a Diplomatic Mission as there none of Ireland Mission in Ivory Coast currently.
