- An international passport of an Ivorian which has at least two blank and opposed pages for the visa.
- One copy of the completed visa application form.
- Two passport-sized photograph which must be attached to the visa application form. The photograph should be taken with a white background.
- Documents showing sufficient means to take care of yourself during your time in Japan.
- Travel insurance which has sufficient medical coverage. The insurance should be valid for the duration of your stay in the country.
- Confirmed reserved accommodation in Japan for the duration of your stay.
- Copy of return flight booking document.

Japan Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This is a type of visa issued to foreign businessmen and businesswomen (including Ivorian nationals) who are travelling to Japan to engage in business activities.
- This visa is of single entry, double entries, and multiple entries.
- The single entry currently is 3,000 Yen while double and multiple entries are 6,000 Yen.
- Visa fees are to be paid in a local currency of the country in which there is a Japanese embassy/consulate is situated in your country.
- Fees may vary depending on the country you are applying for the Japanese visa from.
- If you are not issued a visa, you will not be required to pay for the visa during the application process. That is, you must have gotten or being issued your visa first, before you can pay for the visa.
- The processing time is done approximately within 5 days(given that there are no problems with the content of your application form).
- If there is any problem with the information given in your application form, the Embassy or Consulate will transmit it to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tokyo for further speculation. This might delay your application process up to 1 month or more.
- You are required to present a work certificate during the visa application process.
