Citizens of Ivory Coast looking to visit Malawi can get a visa on arrival for 30 days.
A valid passport is required for stamps and entry.
Passports must be valid for no less than six months.
Onward/return tickets and other documents necessary for visitor’s next destination must be readily available.
Intending visitors must have enough funds to cover for the expenses during the length of their visit.
Visitors are required, on arrival, to report to an Immigration Officer at any Immigration Office.
It is possible to extend one’s stay if a valid residence permit is obtained, and is valid for six months from the date of entry.
There are no restrictions on the import of local and foreign currencies, provided they are declared on arrival.
Travelling from Abidjan to Malawi will require two stopovers and so visitors are expected to make arrangements for transit visas.

Malawi is a relatively safe place to visit, as there are considerably low levels of petty crimes.

Malawi has a tropical climate, with distinct rainy and hot seasons.

Malawi’s cuisine consists of sugar, coffee, potatoes, fish, sauce, etc.

The best time to visit is from May to October when the weather is relatively drier and pleasant.
