Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Belarusian Visa.

  • A Kenyan passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date and must have 2 blank pages for visa stamp.

  • Duly completed and signed visa application form.

Belarus Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Kenyans who have the intention of visiting Belarus for vacation, sightseeing, relaxation, and recreation are eligible to apply for this visa.

  • The Belarus tourist visa is a short term visa and It is a type c visa.

  • Holders of this visa are expected to spend an average of 25 Belarusian ruble per day.

  • The tourist visa can be issued on single, double or multi-entry.

  • Applicants who have  been invited by their friends or relatives living in Belarus can also apply for this visa. 

  • Kenyans who have been invited by their friends or relatives in the country should submit a letter of invitation from their host.

  • Employed applicants are expected to provide a letter from their employers in Kenya stating the name, address, applicant's status in the company and the employer's awareness of the leave.

  • Applicants are to provide proof of incentive of returning to their home country at the expiration of their visa.

  • Proof of payment of  visa application fee is to be submitted by the applicant. 

  • Kenyans travelling on this visa cannot take up paid or unpaid employment or study while they are in Belarus.

  • Applicants are to provide proof of hotel reservations or accommodation that will cover their duration of stay.

  • A copy of applicant's travel itinerary should be submitted.

Belarus Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is for Kenyans who intend to engage in business activities in Belarus.
  • This visa allows its applicants to negotiate and sign business contracts in the country.
  • The Belarusian business visa can either be short or long term.
  • Kenyans on this visa can attend conferences, trade fairs, and business summits during their  travel to Belarus.
  • If you are applying for a year multiple-entry visa, you must provide (1) an original Letter of Invitation from Belarus, (2) a notarized or original Certificate of Registration of the company in Belarus, and (3) a contract with the company in Belarus (all pages must be notarized).
  • Belarusian business visa are usually  issued with a multi entry and can either be a Type C or D visa.
  • Applicants cannot receive payment for services rendered to the locals in the country.
  • Employed applicants are to submit a letter written by their  employer on the company’s letterhead stating that their business leave has been approved. The duration and purpose of your trip should be stated in the letter.
  • An invitation letter from your business partner in Belarus stating the length of your visit and the reason for your visit is required. 
  • The letter written by your host in Belarus should state whether they would be financially responsible for your trip or not.
  • Applicant's host company in Belarus should submit a copy of their Certificate of business registration to the embassy.
  • Kenyans travelling with minors are expected to have the original copy of their birth certificates as well as a letter of consent signed by both parents.
  • Proof of any previous business dealings with the company you are meeting up should be provided.

  • A document showing that the applicant has the incentive of returning to his home country at the expiration of his visa should be provided.

  • Applicants are to provide proof of medical insurance that cover their stay in Belarus or an equivalent of 10,000 euros.

  • The Work Visa allows Kenyans to take up paid employment in Belarus.
  • Applicants of this visa are to ensure that they have be given employment before starting the application process.
  • Kenyans are required to submit a letter of employment from their employers stating the name of the company and position offered.
  • The company in Belarus should also submit a proof that the employee will not be paid below the minimum wage during the period of your employment.
  • Kenyans who do not have the right qualification that matches the job they have been offered will not be issued this visa.
  • The Belarus company must provide proof that there was no citizen of Belarus available to take up the job you were offered.
  • Applicants who have been previously convicted may be refused the work visa.
  • Applicants travelling with minors are required to submit the original copy of the minors birth certificate along with a letter of consent signed by both your parents.

Belarus Journalist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is issued to journalists and people in the media to cover an event or a story while they are in Belarus.
  • Confirmation of temporary accreditation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the Republic of Belarus is mandatory.
  • Holders of this visa are allowed to move around and and collect requisite information that relates to their job.
  • journalists and media personnel are prohibited from being paid for the services they render while in the country.

Belarus Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is for Kenyans with the intention to study in one of the institutions of learning in Belarus.
  • A letter of admission/acceptance from the school is to be submitted to the embassy.
  • The letter of acceptance should be written on the school’s letterhead and signed by the head of the institution.
  • For applicants who are below age 18, the unabridged original copy of birth certificate should be submitted. This should be accompanied by a letter of consent signed by both parents of the minor.
  • Kenyan  students are allowed to work part-time for about 20 hours per week when school is in session and double of that when school is on break.
  • Applicants are to submit proof  of paid visa application fee.
  • Certificates and transcripts gotten from previously attended schools should be submitted by applicants.
  • A proof of part or full payment of tuition fee is required.
  • A document that shows you have the incentive of returning to your country at the end of your study programme is required.
  • Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicants duration of study should be submitted. 
  • This visa can be extended to cover the duration of your study.

  • This visa allows you to make short stops in Belarus.
  • With this visa, you can take a connecting flight from Belarus to your destination country.
  • Holders of the transit visa are not allowed to study or work while they are in the country.
  • Applicants of this visa should ensure they possess the visa and other entry permits to their destination country.
  • Applicants are to provide proof of flight ticket for destination country.
