Cote d’Ivoire is well known for its three UNESCO World Heritage Sites which are the Tai National Park, Comoe National Park and Mount Nimba Strict Nature Reserve. The Tai National Park is a hidden habitat for chimps, the park also offers tourists hiking opportunities through tropical forests. The country also has beach resorts where tourists can take in the lagoon winds.
 
Tourism in Ivory Coast has been steadily increasing since the early 1970s. In 1998, the country recorded 301,039 tourists but the number of tourists in the country is presently at about 1.6 million. It is projected that even more tourists will visit the country in years to come.
 
Tourists will not be allowed to export any high value piece of art from Ivory Coast without getting an exit permit from the National Museum. You are prohibited from entering the country with more than $1,000 or its equivalent.

Ivory Coast Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Invitation letter or a mission order
  • Evidence relating to your qualities as a businessman
  • Proof of hotel booking or other accommodation
  • Proof of sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay in the country.
  • Proof of vaccination against yellow fever, Diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis, polio, flu, varicella, and other regular vaccines
  • Letter from employer granting your leave and stating that you will be coming back to Kenya and the job

  • Proof of hotel booking or other means of  accommodation
  • An invitation letter from the medical facility
  • A medical certificate or proof of appointment in a hospital or clinic.
  • Proof of payment of medical bill in Ivory Coast
  • Proof of payment of visa fees and traveling fees
  • Applicant must have someone accompanying him or her who must have paid all necessary fees and provide proof

Ivory Coast Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Proof of hotel booking or other accommodation
  • Proof of sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay in the country.
  • When applying for a study or research visa, you will need:
  • A university or public institution enrollment or pre-registration certificate
  • Your latest school certificate or student card
  • Your diplomas
  • Proof of accommodation (lease document, university campus room, etc.)
  • Proof of sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay in the country (around 1 million CFA francs for a year of studies), or a scholarship certificate stating the amount and duration allocated
  • Proof of subscription to health insurance.
