Kazakhstan Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Kenyans who have the intention of visiting Kazakhstan for recreation, relaxation, and sightseeing are the eligible applicants of this visa.
  • Applicants of the Tourist Visa may have received an invitation from their friends or relatives living in the country.

  • This visa is issued to Kenyans who have the intention of developing a business relationship with their partner companies in Kazakhstan.
  • During various business meetings between the applicant of this visa and the host company, contracts can be negotiated and signed.
  • Foreigners can attend conferences, business summits, and trade fairs during their time in the country.
  • If you will be attending conferences while you are in Kazakhstan, you are expected to register before leaving the country.
  • A letter from the applicant’s employer in Kenya stating the applicant’s job status, the length of employment, and the duration of the applicant’s visit. The contact details of the employer should be stated in the letter.
  • An official letter of invitation from the host company is required. The letter should be written on the company’s letterhead and should state the nature of the business to be carried out in the country.
  • The business letter should state whether the host company or the sponsoring company will be responsible for the applicant’s finances in Kazakhstan.
  • Proof of previous business transactions between the host company and the sponsoring company should be provided, if any.

  • Kenyan students who have been given admission in one of the academic institutions in Kazakhstan are the eligible applicants of this visa.
  • Holders of this visa are eligible to take up part-time or full-time courses in the institution they have been accepted to.
  • The letter of admission written on the institution’s letterhead and signed by the head of the institution should be provided. The letter should state the course the applicant has been given and the duration of the study programme.
  • A letter with a request to issue a visa addressed to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Kazakhstan is required. The letter should indicate your name and your contact in Kazakhstan.
  • If you are under the age of 18 years, you are required to submit the original copy of your birth certificate. A letter of consent signed by both your parents should be provided if you are traveling alone.
  • Foreign students are allowed to work part-time when school is in session and full-time when school is on break.
  • Applicants of this visa are required to present the certificates and transcripts from the schools they previously attended.

  • Foreigners who will be joining a crew ship in Kazakhstan are also eligible for this visa.
  • Visa and other entry permits of the destination country are required.
  • Flight ticket to the destination country should be provided.
