Basic Travel Requirements for Kenyans visiting Malta

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Maltese Visa.


  • Kenyan passport valid for at least three months after the date of exit from the country. The passport must have at least two blank pages.
  • Duly completed visa application form signed by the applicant.
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs taken with a white background. The passport should follow the photo specification of a visa application.
  • Bank statement from the last three months prior to the period of visa application. This serves as proof of sufficient financial means for the duration of your stay in the country.
  • Valid travel insurance which has a coverage of €30,000 for medical insurance.
  • Proof of accommodation for the duration of your stay in the country.
  • Return flight ticket.
  • Copy of travel itinerary.
  • Proof of civil status.
