Monaco Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Monaco tourist visa is available for Kenyans visiting Monaco for sightseeing, recreation and relaxation.
  • A passport with a validity of three months beyond your intended period of  stay is required.
  • Two recent identical photos taken within the last three months are required.
  • If you have been invited by a friend or family living in Monaco, you can pay them a visit using this visa.
  • A letter of invitation written by your host in Monaco is necessary. This letter should include details about the host, home address, and the relationship with the applicant.
  • If you are not staying with friends or relatives, proof of a hotel reservation or any other means of accommodation must be provided.
  • Applicants cannot engage in business activities during their time in the country.
  • Holders of the Monaco tourist visa can attend festivals and events during their time in the country.
  • A letter from the applicant’s employer in Kenya stating the awareness and allowance of leave is important. The applicant’s job status as well as the number of years he/she has been employed should be stated in the letter.
  • A Certificate of Income Tax (CIT) is also required of the applicant.
  • A flight itinerary must be provided. This shows that you have booked a flight ticket from your home country to the closest French airport to Monaco, since Monaco does not have an airport.
  • Proof of a confirmed health insurance must be provided. This insurance should cover your entire period of stay in Monaco.
  • A copy of your bank statement is also necessary; this shows that you are capable of adequately financing your stay in Monaco.
  • Applicants are required to present a cover letter which explains the purpose of their visit to Monaco. The letter must contain details on when the applicant plan to enter and exit the country, and also where they will be staying throughout their time in the country.
  • Be ready to provide a document that proves you have the incentive of returning to your home country after the duration of your trip.

  • A valid Monaco business visa enables Kenyans to travel to Monaco for business.
  • The Monaco business visa also allows travelers to attend conferences, trade fairs, and business summits.
  • Travelers must have a passport that is valid for at least six months beyond the duration of their trip.

  • You are required to vacate the country once your authorized stay expires.
