- If the traveler wants to stay for more than 90 days in Morocco, he or she will require a resident permit to do so.
- If you remain in Morocco beyond 90 days without having requested an extension of stay, you will need to appear before a judge prior to departing Morocco.
- Bear in mind that having a visa does not mean automatic entry into Morocco. The Immigration Officer at the port of entry may refuse entry to any person, if he considers that such a person is unable to fulfill the immigration requirements or that such person's presence in Morocco would be contrary to national interests or security.
- An Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) can be obtained instead of appearing physically at the embassy for a tourist visa, but this option is not available to all nationals. Only nationals from Guinea, Congo and Mali can apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization.
- A copy of your bank statement of not more than four weeks old must be provided to prove that you are financially capable to support yourself during your stay in Morocco. You need at least 12 - 15 dollars per day to stay in Morocco as a tourist.
