Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Pakistani Visa.

  • National passport which is valid for more than 6 months after the intended period of exiting the country. The passport should have two blank pages.
  • Duly filled visa application form signed where necessary.
  • Two passport-sized photographs taken with a blue background.
  • Bank statement which is not older than three months from the time of visa application.

Pakistan Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The tourist visa allows foreigners to visit the country for sightseeing, recreation and relaxation purposes.
  • This visa allows foreigners to visit their friends and relatives in the country.
  • If you have a host in the country, a letter of invitation from your host should be provided. The information in the letter should include the hosts home address, telephone number and valid means of identification.
  • Holders of this visa are not allowed to take up a course to study in one of the institutions in the country.
  • You can attend events and festivals while you are in Pakistan
  • A letter from your employer in Kenya should be provided. Your employer should state that he/she has granted permission for your leave. Your status in the company and the length of your employment should be clearly stated in the letter.
  • A copy of the Kenyan stay permit is required for non-Kenyans.
  • If you are under the age of 18 years, the unabridged original copy of your birth certificate should be submitted. You are also required to have a letter of consent signed by both your parents if you are traveling alone.
  • Proof of the incentive of returning to Kenya.
  • Receipt of paid visa application form should be provided. This could be your child’s birth certificate or your original marriage certificate.
  • Kenyans are not allowed to take up paid or unpaid employment during their time in Pakistan.
  • Applicants are expected to abide by all the rules guiding this visa.
  • International Certificate of Vaccination against Yellow Fever is required.

Pakistan Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Applicants of the Business Visa are business-oriented travelers who intend to engage in business activities in Pakistan.
  • Business travelers can negotiate and sign business contracts with their partner company during their time in the country.
  • Kenyans visiting Pakistan with this visa are allowed to attend conferences, trade fairs, and business summits.
  • Letter from the applicant’s employer written on company’s letterhead, introducing the applicant, indicating the applicant’s position in the company and clearly stating the purpose of visit to Pakistan.
  • A letter of invitation from the company in Pakistan is required. The duration of your trip and the purpose of the visit should be stated.
  • Certificate of business registration of the company in Pakistan is required.
  • If the company in Pakistan is going to be responsible for your finances in the country, it should be clearly stated in the letter of invitation.
  • Proof of previous business dealings with the company should be provided if any.
  • Receipt of payment of visa application fee should be provided.
  • Kenyans should have proof that they have the incentive of returning to their country at the expiry of their visa.

Pakistan Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The eligible applicants of this visa are students who intend to study full-time in one of the institutions of learning in the country.
  • Students should ensure that they have been accepted into the institution of their choice in Pakistan.
  • A letter of acceptance from the institution in Pakistan should be provided. The course applicant will be offering and the duration of the study program should be clearly stated in the letter.
  • International students are allowed to work part-time when school is in session and full-time when school is on break.
  • Applicants should ensure they possess an International Certificate of Vaccination against yellow fever.
  • Students who are under the age of 18 years are required to present the unabridged original copy of their birth certificate.
  • For non-Kenyans, a copy of their stay permit in Kenya is required.
  • Certificates and transcripts from previously attended should be provided.
  • A document which proves that you have the incentive to return to your country at the end of your study.
  • Proof of payment of paid visa application fee is required.

Pakistan Work Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is for Kenyans who intend to take up paid employment in Pakistan.
  • Applicants of this visa should confirm that they have been offered a job in Pakistan before initiating the visa application process.
  • A letter from your future employer in Pakistan should be provided. The company’s address and your job description should be clearly stated in the letter.
  • The certificate of business registration of the company you will be working for should be provided.
  • Proof that you will not be paid below the minimum wage by your employer should be provided.
  • International Certificate of Vaccination against yellow fever is required.
  • Applicants who do not have the necessary qualification for the job they have been offered will not be allowed entry into the country.
  • A document that shows that the applicant has the incentive to return to his/her country should be made available during the visa application process.
  • If you are minor traveling without your parents or traveling with one of your parents, a notarized consent signed by both parents is required.

Pakistan Official Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is for diplomats visiting the country for official purposes.
  • Diplomats visiting the country aim to improve the relationship between the government of Kenya and Pakistan.
  • A diplomatic note from the Kenyan government is required. The note should contain your position in government, duration, and purpose of your visit to the country.
  • An original invitation letter from the government in Pakistan is required.
  • Asides Head of States, if your purpose of visiting the country is non-official, this visa will not be issued to you.
  • If you are traveling with a minor, the original copy of the minor’s birth certificate should be presented during the visa application process.
