Romania Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Your passport must be valid for the entire duration of your visit it must not expire sooner than your intended date of departure.
- Two identical 30 mm x 40 mm passport-sized photographs with white background is required.
- Travelers should provide evidence of booking with tour company or tour organizer.
- No immunizations or unusual health precautions are necessary or required, but during the summer months mosquitoes are present in the Danube Delta and some low-lying regions. For your comfort take some mosquito repellent with you, if visiting Romania during the warm season.
- The currency used in Romania is Romanian Lei. Though most of the prices of goods in Romania are displayed in Euros.
- Travelers can only enter Romania with just 10,000 euros in cash. Any amount higher would have to be declared before entry.
- Proof that the applicant is capable of financial support must be provided, The applicant is required to have at least EUR 30/day for the entire period of their stay on the territory of Romania.
- The applicant is required to provide proof of accommodation.
- You allowed to bring pets into the Romania, given that to apply the following rules:
- Proof of rabid vaccination is required.
- The health certificate must prove that your pet has had all its shots and is healthy enough to travel.
- Microchips implantation record on your pet must be provided. If your pet doesn't already have a microchip you can easily get one.
Romania Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- A flight reservation to the Romanian territory showing your entry and exit dates should be provided. It should also contain your PNR and full details as they appear on your international passport bio-data page.
- A letter from your employer confirming your business leave is required. The letter should be written with the company’s letterhead and should have information which includes your position in the company and the duration of your business leave.
- An invitation from the host company for participation in meetings, conferences, fairs, or congresses related to trade or industry stating that the company will cover the expenses must be provided. This letter must also receive the approval from the General Inspectorate for Immigration-Ministry of Internal Affairs (IGI-MAI), without this it is impossible for the applicant to do business with the host company.
- The letter should also have the company’s address and state the duration, as well as the purpose of your visit.
- You are required to possess a copy of the certificate of business registration and the bylaws of your partner company.
- Proof that you made payment for the visa application is required.
- Proof of previous business dealings between you and the company should be provided, if any.
