Suriname Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Tourist Visa is issued to foreigners traveling to Suriname for recreation, sightseeing, and relaxation purposes.
  • Foreigners who have their friends and relatives living in Suriname can visit these friends or relatives in the country using this visa.
  • If you have been invited to Suriname by a friend or relative in Suriname, an invitation letter from your host is required. A valid means of identification of your host should be attached to the letter of invitation.
  • Foreigners in Suriname are permitted to attend festivals and events in the country.
  • A letter from the applicant’s employer confirming the applicant’s leave is required. The letter should state the applicant’s position in the company and length of employment. The purpose and duration of the trip should be stated in the letter.

  • Letter from the sponsoring company in Kenya introducing the applicant, stating the nature of the business to be done and the duration of the trip.
