How to get a Tunisia visa from Kenya

• The tourist visa is for foreigners visiting Tunisia with the intention of visiting the country for sightseeing, swimming, vacation etc.
• Two 35 x 45 mm passport-sized photographs with gray background is required.
• Your passport must be valid for at least six months after you enter Tunisia.
  
• Applicants of this may have been invited by friends and relatives in the country. This visa also serves as a visitor visa.
• If you have been invited by a friend or relative, an official letter of invitation from your host is required. Information in the letter should include, the host’s home address and telephone number.
• You will also need to provide proof of the host’s status in Tunisia i.e copy of their Tunisia passport’s information page, or if they are not a citizen of Tunisia, copies of their Tunisia residence permit.
• No vaccinations are required by law to enter Tunisia but Typhoid and Hepatitis A are two vaccinations that are strongly recommended.
• The Tunisian Dinar is Tunisia's official unit of currency
  
• Holders of the Tourist Visa are not allowed to take up paid or unpaid employment during their time in the country.
• If you are a minor you are to bring your birth certificate and a letter of consent from your parents or guardian.
• Not all part of Tunisia is safe, the Foreign Office still advises against travel to parts of southern and western Tunisia, especially where the country borders Libya.

• Kenyans applying for the Business Visa have the intention of engaging in business activities while they are in Tunisia.
• Business travelers can sign and negotiate business contracts with their partner companies in the country.
• Holders of this visa can attend conferences, trade fairs, and business summits.
• If you will be attending a conference in the country, you are required to have registered before traveling. Proof of registration for the conference is required.
• A letter of invitation from the company you are visiting in Tunisia should be provided. The letter should be written on the company’s letterhead and should state the company’s address, the purpose of your visit and the duration of your visit.
• A letter from your employer in Kenya is also required. The letter should state your job position, the term of your contract, and how long you have been employed.
• Certificate of business registration of your business partner in Tunisia is required.
• If you have been involved in business dealings with the company previously, proof of this should be provided.
• You cannot receive payment for the services you render during your time in the country.
• Receipt of paid visa application fee is required.
• If you are traveling with a minor, the original copy of your birth certificate is required. It should be accompanied by a notarized letter of consent signed by both their parents.
