  • This visa is for foreigners who have the intention of visiting Uzbekistan for recreation, relaxation, and sightseeing purposes.
  • Kenyans who have been invited to the country by their friends and relatives in the country can visit the country with this visa.

Uzbekistan Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Eligible applicants of this visa are business travelers who have the intention of visiting Uzbekistan to engage in business activities.
  • Foreigners can negotiate and sign business contracts with their partners during any business meeting.
  • Kenyans are not prohibited from attending conferences, trade fairs, and business summits during their time in the country.
  • A letter from the applicant’s employer in Kenya should be provided. The letter should state the job position of the applicant and state the duration and the purpose of the business trip.
  • An official letter of invitation from the host company in Uzbekistan should be provided. The letter should be written on the company’s letterhead and signed by an authorized signatory of the company.
  • The letter should state the duration and nature of the business to be carried out. The valid contact address of the company should be included in the letter.
  • If the responsibility of the applicant’s finances will be taken up by the host or the sponsoring company, it should be clearly stated on the business letter.

Uzbekistan Work Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is granted to foreigners who have been offered employment by a company in Uzbekistan.
  • A letter of employment from the employer in Uzbekistan is required. The letter should state the terms of the contract offered to the employer and should be signed by both the employer and employee.
  • The applicant’s employer in Uzbekistan should provide proof that there was no Uzbekistan willing and available to take up the job at the time you were offered the job.
  • Proof that the applicant will not be paid below the minimum wage during the period he/she is employed is required.
  • Foreigners who do not have the right qualification that matches the job they have been offered will not be issued this visa.
  • Kenyans applying for this visa should ensure they are vaccinated against yellow fever, polio, hepatitis A and hepatitis B should be provided.
  • If the applicant of this visa is not a Kenyan, a copy of his/her stay permit in Kenyan should be provided.
  • If you are traveling with an underage child, the original copy of the child’s birth certificate should be provided. A notarized consent signed by both parents of the child is also required.
  • Receipt of payment of visa application is required.

Uzbekistan Transit Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is issued to foreigners with the aim of transiting through Uzbekistan to their destination country.
  • The Transit Visa allows foreigners to make short stops in the country.
  • Visa and other entry permits of the destination country are required.
  • Flight ticket of the destination country should be provided.
  • This visa does not allow foreigners to take up paid or unpaid employment while they are in the country.
  • If you are under the age of 18 years, the original copy of your birth certificate is required. If you are traveling without supervision, a notarized consent signed by both your parents should be provided.
  • Traveling from Kenya to Uzbekistan and from Uzbekistan back to Kenya is not regarded as transit.
  • Foreigners cannot be granted an extension to this visa.
