Basic Travel Requirements for Laotians visiting France

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a French Visa.


  • A duly completed visa application form.
  • A passport with 3 months' validity beyond the return date and two blank pages for stamps. 
  • Two recently taken color passport photo, light gray background, 35mm by 45mm in size, centered facing(30mm- 36mm). 
  • A document showing proof of the applicant's address (electricity bills, water bills or other valid documents). 
  • Proof of a booked round-trip flight ticket with travel Itinerary.
  • Proof of a travel visa Insurance.
  • A cover letter signed by the applicant stating the purpose of your visit to France. 
  • Proof of booked accommodation for the period of stay in France. 
  • Proof of sufficient funds to cover expenses during the period of stay in France.
