Basic Travel Requirements for Laotians visiting Israel

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Israeli Visa.

Israel Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Israeli tourist visa is a visa issued to foreigners who intend to visit Israel for tourism, visitation and other recreational purposes. 
  • Laotians who wish to visit a friend or relative in Israel can apply for the Israeli tourist visa also called the B/2 visa. 
  • Laotians who intend to travel to Israel must have a passport valid for a duration of six months from the date of entry in the country and the passport must have blank pages for visa stamps.
  • Original and photocopy of the visa application form. 
  • Two recently taken passport photographs 5x5cm in size. 
  • Applicants are required to show a document stating the purpose of their visit to Israel. 
  • Applicants traveling with minors are expected to show their birth certificates. 
  • Minors traveling without their parents are expected to show a consent letter signed by their parents. 
  • Proof of flight bookings or reservations. 
  • Banks statements for the last three months to show proof of sufficient funds while in the country. 
  • Applicants are required to show a confirmation of hotel reservation in Israel. Applicants are expected to pay for their hotel reservations within 24 hours of booking to avoid booking cancelation. 
  • Applicants who wish to stay with a friend in Israel must submit a document showing the residential address and contact details of the host. 

Israel Work Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Isreali work visa is a visa issued to foreigners who have gotten a job offer from a company in Isreal. 
  • Laotians who are skilled, educated and experienced and wish to take up a job offer in Israel can apply for the Israeli work visa also called a B-1 work visa. 
  • Foreigners in Israel on a work visa are expected to get a work permit. 
  • Two recently taken passport photographs 5x5cm in size is required. 
  • A passport with six months validity and blank passport pages for visa stamps is required. 
  • A duly completed and signed Isreal work visa application form. 
  • A certificate of good conduct from your previous employer is needed. 
  • A certificate of medical examination from an authorized hospital and a result of a blood test to show that the applicant is free from any diseases. 
  • The certificate must cover inter alia, normal results in tests for tuberculosis, hepatitis and AIDS. 
  • The state of Israel has begun to take a fingerprint from foreigners who enter the country to work, so applicants are required to provide a certificate of declaration of the taking of a fingerprint and a photograph. 
  • A signed letter of employment from a company in Israel. The letter must state that they intend to hire you to fill in a vacant position. 
  • The Isreal company must submit a document stating that there is no Isreali to take up the vacant position. 
  • Proof of sufficient funds to cover the duration of stay in Israel. 
  • Proof of hotel reservations or accommodation in Israel. 
  • Travel itinerary. 
  • A copy of your flight return ticket. 
  • A document from the police of your home country stating that you do not have any criminal record. 

Israel Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Israeli student visa also called the A/2 visa is a visa issued to foreigners who wish to study in an accredited learning institution in Israel. 
  • Laotians who apply for this visa must have been offered admission to study in a learning institution in Israel, The letter must be signed by the university representative. 
  • A completed and signed Isreal student visa application form is required. 
  • Two identical passport photographs 5x5cm in size must be provided. 
  • Applicants must submit the original copy of their birth certificate. 
  • Applicants must submit a document to prove that he has the financial means to pay for his studies and sustenance for his duration of stay in the country. 
  • The Isreali student visa is valid for one year. Applicants whose study year is more than a year can apply for an extension of stay at the Ministry of the interior in Isreal. 
  • Foreigners in Israel on a student visa are not allowed to work with this visa. Anyone found working on a student visa will be punished. 
  • Minors traveling to study in Isreal must provide a consent letter signed by their parents or legal guardian before they can be issued a visa. 
  • A certificate of acceptance for study in a recognized educational institution in Israel is needed.
