Basic Travel Requirements for Laotians visiting Syria

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Syrian Visa.


  • A Laotian passport with at least 6 months validity beyond your departure date from Syria.

  • Two photocopies of the biodata page of your passport.

  • 2 duly completed and signed visa application forms.

  • Two recently taken coloured passport sized photographs.

  • Copy of return flight ticket to country of origin.

  • Proof of accommodation for the entire duration of stay.

  • Proof of travel medical insurance to cover the duration of stay in Syria.

  • Copy of your travel itinerary.

  • Proof of financial means for the entire duration of travel.

  • Police report showing the applicant has no criminal record.
