Turkmenistan Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Turkmenistan tourist visa is a visa issued to Laotians who intend to visit the country for visitation, tourism and other recreational purposes.
- A passport valid for a duration of six months and must have blank passport pages is required.
- Two passport style photographs not more than six months and taken against a white background.
- Every visa holder will need to pay an additional fee of US$14 for an entry card that will list their exit point in Turkmenistan.
- Applicants are required to submit an invitation letter from a host in Turkmenistan. If you arrive at Turkmenistan without an authorized letter of invitation you will be asked to exit the country.
- The currency restriction for exit in Turkmenistan is $3000.
- Applicants cannot travel to Turkmenistan individually as the cost of traveling on a tourist visa is expensive. Applicants are advised to make a booking through a tour company.
- Applicants traveling with a minor are required to provide the minor’s birth certificate and a letter of consent signed by both parents (when traveling without the minor’s parents).
- Applicants are required to provide a valid residence permit of the host.
