Armenia Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • An Armenian Tourist visa is issued to foreigners who intend to visit Armenia for tourism, visiting of family and friends, studies and business purposes.
  • Visa validity is 120 days but can be extended for a maximum of 60 days.
  • Applicants are charged $1 for each day of extension.
  • One completed and signed the application form.
  • Two recent passport photographs attached to the application form.
  • Original Lesotho passport with a minimum of 6-month validity.
  • Passport must have at least one blank page for stamp.
  • Copy of confirmed round trip tickets showing entry and exit dates.
  • Copy of confirmed hotel reservation serving as proof of accommodation in Armenia.

  • Approval letter from the company in Lesotho should indicate that the employer is aware of leave and the applicant is of good conduct.
  • It should also be stated in the letter if the host be it, family, friend or business organization will be responsible for the financial expenses of applicants.

  • Signed Armenia visa application form that is correctly filled. 
  • Two passport photos taken against a white background is required.
  • Passport with 6 months validity beyond trip completion and one blank visa page.
  • One copy of flight itinerary or travel documents.
  • Transit visa allows a stay of 3 days including entry and exit days and can be extended for 4 days.
  • Applicants transiting through Armenia must provide travel tickets to the third country. 
  • Applicants must not stay in Armenia territory for more than 3 days except for emergency cases.

  • An official visa is granted to foreigners visiting Armenia for official business on behalf of the Lesotho Government.
  • A copy of the completely filled and signed application form.
  • Applicants are required to submit two recent passport photograph that is taken with a white background.
  • Undamaged Lesotho passport valid for at least six months from the date the visa application is submitted.
  • An official diplomatic letter should specify the applicant’s name, position, passport-type and date and purpose of travel.
