Italy Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
The Italian business visa is issued to Malagasy travelling to Italy for business purposes. Holders of this visa type are allowed to take part in business meetings and sign business contracts. A letter from the applicant's employer stating the purpose and duration of the business trip should be submitted. The host company or partner company in Italy should provide a letter of invitation stating the nature of business to be conducted and duration. If the host company will be responsible for the applicant financially while in Italy it should be clearly stated. Private business owners are to submit a copy of their business registration certificate. A copy of their Income Tax Return should be submitted. Travel insurance of minimum value of 30,000 euros should be submitted. Proof of medical fitness and yellow fever vaccination should be submitted. You cannot take up work permanently with this visa type. Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicant's duration of stay should be submitted. Proof of incentive of returning to home country at the expiration of your visa. Proof of hotel reservation and accommodation should be submitted.

The Italian student's visa is issued Malagasy with the intention of travelling to Italy for study purposes. Malagasy should ensure that they have been offered admission before initiating this process. Applicants offer of admission from the institution of learning in Italy should be submitted. The letter should contain the details of the course to be undertaken. Certificates and transcripts from previously attended institutions that qualifies the applicant for the course in which an admission was offered should be submitted. If the certificates do not match the course in which they have been offered admission, applicants might be denied visa. Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicant's duration of stay. An extension to the visa may be granted to cover the duration of the period of study in the country. If you are a minor travelling without your parents, a letter of consent signed by both your parents should be provided. Also, an unabridged original copy of your birth certificate is required. You are not allowed to seek public funds while you are in the country.
