Kuwait Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Kuwaiti tourist visa is available to citizens of Madagascar intending to travel to Kuwait for tourism purposes. 
  • This visa is valid for 90 days.
  • Be aware that desert areas and some beaches contain unexploded ordnance and war materials left over from the 1990-1991 Gulf War. Be careful not to venture into unsafe territories.
  • Embassy policy places the Kuwait/Iraq border demarcation area north of Mutla’a Ridge as off-limits for travelers without special permission.

  • Citizens of Madagascar can apply for the Kuwaiti business visa if they intend to travel to the country for business.
  • A letter from the applicant’s employer written on the company’s letterhead should be provided. The letter should include the following:

    • Specify the purpose and duration of stay.
    • Include an acceptance of financial responsibility for the applicant.

    • Be issued within the last three months.
