Norway Visitor Visa Eligibility & Requirements
Norwegian tourist visa is issued to Malagasy visiting the country for tourism, vacation or relaxation purposes. The tourist visa can also be referred to as a visitors' visa. The Norwegian visitor visa also permits its holder to visit friends or relatives residing in Norway. Applicants visiting friends and relatives will require a letter from their host in Norway. The letter should clearly state their full contact address and a valid means of identification should be attached to it. A Malagasy passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from the proposed date of travel should be submitted. A letter from the applicant's employer stating their awareness of the applicants leave and duration granted should be submitted. Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicant's duration of stay should be submitted. Proof of hotel reservation or accommodation should be submitted. Proof of incentive of returning to home country at the expiration of your visa should be submitted. Applicants travel itinerary should be provided. You must also provide proof of payment for the visa fee. Minors are required to submit a copy of their original birth certificate alongside a letter of consent from one or both parents.
Norway Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
The Norwegian student’s visa is issued to Malagasy visiting the country for study purposes. Applicants should ensure that they have been offered admission into an institute of learning before initiating this visa process. If the study program would be less than 3 months then applicants should apply for a visitors visa instead. Applicant’s passport must be original with at least two blank pages for visa stamps, and be valid for not less than 6 months months beyond the date you intend to leave Norway. A letter of admission from the institution should be provided. The letter should clearly state that the applicant has been offered admission, the course of study and duration of course should also be stated in the letter. Applicants will require a study permit in order to be able to study in Norway. With a valid study permit, you can work part-time in Norway for up to 20 hours per week when school is in session and full-time on holidays. Transcripts and certificates from previously attended institutions that qualifies the applicant for the course in which he has been offered admission should be submitted. Proof of part or full payment of tuition fee should be submitted. Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicants duration of stay should be submitted. Applicants should have a travel health insurance with a minimum value of 30,000 euros. Proof of incentive of returning to Madagascar at the expiration of your visa should be submitted. You must also provide proof of accommodation for the entire duration of your study in Norway. Proof of paid visa application fee should be submitted.
