  • A copy of the certificate of vaccination against yellow fever vaccination is required from applicants coming from infected areas.
  • Receipt showing proof that the visa application fee has been paid is required.
  • Proof of accommodation/hotel reservations for the whole duration of stay in Russia is required.
  • A copy of the original bank statement of the last three months showing proof of sufficient funds for the entire duration of stay is required.
  • A copy of return travel tickets to Malawi is required.
  • An issued police report from the local police department in Malawi showing that the applicant has no history of criminal activities in Malawi.

  • Applicants are required to submit a correctly filled and sign the Russia visa application form.
  • An original Malawi passport valid for at least 6 months beyond stay in Russia.
