Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a South Korean Visa.

  • Malawi passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended stay in South Korea.
  • Passport should have two empty pages for entry stamp.
  • A completely and correctly signed South Korea visa application form.
  • Parents or legal guardians will have to sign the application form for minors.
  • One passport photograph taken against a white background.

South Korea Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The tourist visa is issued to foreigners for the purpose of sightseeing, visiting friends and relatives in South Korea.
  • Holders of a tourist visa are not permitted to take up a job or engage in business activities.
  • Original Malawi passport that is valid for 6 months after an intended stay in South Korea.
  • Passport should have at least 2 empty pages for the South Korea visa stamp.
  • Original South Korea visa application form must be correctly filled and signed by the applicant

South Korea Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Business Visa allows foreigners to engage in business activities such as attending conferences, trade fairs, negotiating and signing business contracts in South Korea.
  • Malawi international passport should be valid for at least 6 months
  • Passport should have at least 2 blank pages for visa stamps.
  • A letter from the employer in Malawi stating the awareness of business leave, the position held in the company, duration, and purpose of the business trip to South Korea.
  • Letter of invitation from the host company or organization in South Korea is required.
  • The letter should indicate the type of business to be conducted and the duration of the applicant’s stay should be clearly stated.
  • It should also be clearly stated in the invitation letter if the host company in South Korea will be financially responsible for the applicant for the entire duration of stay.

  • Certificate of business registration of both inviting companies in South Korea and home company in Malawi.
