- Citizens of Malaysia can visit Egypt for a period of 14 days without applying for a visa.
- All visitors must have a passport valid for at least 6 months after entry into Egypt. Passport should have two blank pages for visa stamping.
- Citizens of Malaysia are to have a return or onward ticket and proof of enough money to spend during their stay in Egypt, which could be a recent bank statement.
- Minors travelling alone must have an unaccompanied minors form signed by a parent or guardian.
- The import of arms and ammunition is prohibited.
