Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Danish Visa.

  • Passport with a validity of more than six months from the intended period of exiting the country. The passport should have two blank pages for necessary stamps.

  • Applicants who apply for this visa wish to visit Denmark for tourism and leisure.
  • Foreigners who are also visiting Denmark to take part in short term business activities are also eligible for this visa.

  • This visa is issued to Malians who have been offered employment by an employer in Denmark.
  • Before initiating the visa application process, the applicant must ensure that they have been offered employment in Denmark.
  • The employment contract signed by both the employer and the employee which states the terms of employment should be provided.
  • Researchers who have been offered employment at a research institute or company in Denmark are free to apply for this visa.
  • Proof that the applicant will not be paid below the minimum wage paid to other Danish nationals is required.
  • Foreigners who do not have the right qualification that matches the job they have been offered will not be issued this visa.
  • People working in Denmark are free to do unpaid voluntary work while they are in the country.
  • If you are offered a new job, you must apply for a new permit. This also applies if you are offered a new position within the same company.
  • A copy of your resume or Curriculum Vitae should be provided.

Denmark Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is issued to foreigners who have the intention of studying in any of the academic institutions in the country.
  • Foreigners must have been accepted into an educational institution before they are granted this visa.
  • A letter of acceptance printed on the institution’s letterhead stating the course the applicant has been offered and the duration of the study program.
  • The educational institution must be publically accredited and must offer a full-time study.
  • Applicants who have completed a higher education program in Denmark will be granted a 6-month residence permit to look for employment.
  • If you are under the age of 18 years, the original copy of your birth certificate should be provided during the visa application process.
  • Applicants of this visa are entitled to partly user paid Danish lessons. The applicant must have turned 18 and have their Danish address registered in the Danish National Register before they can enjoy this benefit.
  • Certificates and transcripts of the previous institutions attended by the applicant are required.
  • International students are not allowed to work during their study program in Denmark.
