- There are two types of tourist visa:
- Schengen C-type visa: this visa is valid in Schengen states. It entitles the holder to stay in the territory of all Schengen states. It is valid for 90 days.
- National D-type visa: this visa is for visitors who intend to stay in the territory of Poland for a total of more than 90 days (at least 91 days) during one or more visits within a half-year period calculated from the date of first entry.
- Travelers are required to provide proof of travel medical insurance confirmation of a minimum of 30,000 € coverage within Portugal and the entire Schengen area.
- Tourists are required to register with Portuguese Immigration Service within three days of entering Portugal. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in an administrative offense punishable with a fine from €60 to €160.
