Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Saudi Arabian Visa.

  • A Mauritanian international passport valid for at least twelve (12) months, with at least two (2) clear visa pages adjacent to each other.
  • Two (2) recent passport size color photograph with a white background. 
  • Duly filled and signed visa application form.
  • If the applicant is a minor, the parents/legal guardians have to sign the form.
  • Females and minors may require a male guardian’s permission to leave the country.
  • Proof of financial support.

Saudi Arabia Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Saudi Arabia business visas are issued to businessmen, investors and other visitors traveling to the country for the sole purpose of business.
  • This visa has a validity of 90 days as it is usually issued as a short-stay visa.
  • Saudi Arabian business visa fee might vary depending on the country you might be applying for the visa form.
  • An invitation letter from a Saudi-based company, approved by the Chamber of Commerce in Saudi Arabia is required from you.
  • Visitors on this visa are not eligible to take up employment or reside in Saudi Arabia.
  • All the information you will be given on the visa application form MUST be filled out completely in CAPITAL LETTERS.
  • If you are applying through a visa office registered with Enjaz, the application must be completed online. Enjaz is an online application for a Saudi visa that you must submit either on your own or through an approved visa processing company.
  • You can sign contracts, partake in auctions and exhibitions and also speak at business-related events while on the Saudi Business visa.
  • You will need to provide an invitation letter from the Saudi company you will be visiting.
  • This letter will also contain their detailed address, accompanied by the date and actual purpose of your trip.
  • You are not to overstay the time granted on the visa.
  • If the intention is to attend a meeting or seminar, confirmation/invitation from the conference organizer/institution is required.
  • If you are employed, you will have to present a certificate from your employer stating or allowing your business travel.
  • Proof of sufficient funds to cover the costs of stay (e.g. bank statement for 2 recent months) is required.
  • Mauritanian applicants are to apply for the Saudi Arabia visa in neighboring countries where Saudi has either an embassy or consulate, as Saudi does not have either of the Diplomatic Mission in Mauritania. 
  • You cannot be gainfully employed while you are in the country with this visa.
  • Visitors should not overstay the time granted on their visa.
  • Business visas do not grant the applicant the right to work or to reside in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • You must abide by the country’s Islamic laws and regulations and respect its society’s values and traditions.
  • Saudi Arabia totally forbid drug trafficking by law which is strictly enforced. Violation of this law will be subjected to dire punishment which might lead to the death penalty.

Saudi Arabia Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Saudi Arabia does not currently issue tourist visas but the Hajj visa stands in place of its tourist visa.
  • But visas can be obtained from Saudi embassies and consulates for a range of purposes including employment, business, family visits, journalism, and studying.
  • The Hajj visa is a visitor visa available for Muslim travelers who wish to make a religious pilgrimage to Mecca.
  • The visa is issued $46.00 generally, but this might be or less in your own country or embassy you are applying from.
  • Each applicant for a Hajj visa must apply through a licensed Saudi travel agency.
  • The agency must present the Consulate with copies of “Accommodation Contacts” and a letter from the Ministry of Hajj in Saudi Arabia confirming that the travel agency has duly completed all requirements to qualify to assist pilgrims.
  • The applicant must have a passport with a validity of at least six (6) months and acceptable both for entry to Saudi Arabia and entry to the next destination.
  • The passport should have at least two empty visa pages adjacent to each other.
  • While sending documents to the embassy by mail, include a prepaid return label and envelope (from FedEx, UPS or U.S. Postal Service only) with the return address label filled out completely.
  • All women are required to travel for Hajj with a Mahram. Proof of kinship must be submitted with the application form.
  • Women over the age of forty-five (45) may travel without a Mahram with an organized group.
  • They must, however,  submit a no-objection letter from the husband, son or brother authorizing her to travel for Hajj with the named group. This letter should be notarized.

Saudi Arabia Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is intended for people traveling to Saudi Arabia for the purpose of study.
  • Applicants of this visa must be ready to submit original copies of previous academic degrees earned.
  • Three (3) copies of medical reports, along with three (3) passport-size color pictures, need to also be submitted.
  • The medical report must be issued by a licensed physician who must sign each copy and certify that the applicant is free of any contagious disease. The license number and address of the physician should appear on each copy. Medical reports must be used within three (3) months from the date of issuance. 
  • Children under the age of sixteen (16) do not need a medical report.
  • A recent police report, with detailed information about the applicant’s criminal record, if any, must be provided.
  • For married students wishing to take along their spouses or their children, proof of kinship is required: for a spouse, a copy of the marriage certificate will do; for a child, a copy of the birth certificate.
  • Minors (under 18 years of age) traveling alone or with one parent must submit a notarized letter of authorization, in either in Arabic or English, signed by both parents or legal guardians.
  • Visitors to Saudi Arabia must abide by the country’s Islamic laws and regulations and respect its society’s values and traditions.
  • The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s laws against drug trafficking are strictly enforced. Violators are subject to severe punishment, which may include the death penalty.
