Basic Travel Requirements for Mauritians visiting Lebanon

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Lebanese Visa.


  • Travelers with passports with Israel stamps are denied entry. They also may subjected to detention. 
  • Minors under 15 years of age must travel under their passports of their parents or guardians. Or have their own passports.
  • You are expected to visit the Embassy or General Consulate of the Republic of Lebanon to apply  in person. 
  • You are expected to apply month before travel. 
  • Passports with a validity of three months beyond the intended stay is required.
  • Photocopies of passport pages including passport cover, bio page, page 7 and 9 and last page showing your contact details and full name, issued and expiry date, passport number e.t.c.
  • A copy of the applicant's  residency card with no less than six months expiry date. 
  • Two passports taken on a white background (3.5cm x 4.5cm). 
  • Recent three months  and original online bank statement
  • For Minor applicant: An Original birth certificate showing both the parents and child’s names. 
  • Proof of fee payment 
  • Copy of Travel Insurance
