Basic Travel Requirements for Mauritians visiting Mali

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Malian Visa.

  •  Copy of yellow fever vaccination certificate
  • Application form should be filled, signed and stamped.
  • Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after staying in Mali
  • Passport must have 2 blank visa pages.
  • Travel itinerary showing entry and exit dates from the country.
  • Two recent (2cm by 2cm) passport photograph with a plain background and must be taken within the last 6 months.
  • For minors traveling alone, the application form must be signed by the parents/legal guardians.

  • National ID or residence permit to prove residence in Mali.

Mali Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • A tourist visa is issued for the sole purpose of traveling for fun and pleasure tourism activities such as touring, sightseeing, etc.
  •  Mali visa application form that is filled, signed and stamped 
  •  Original Mauritius passport that is signed and valid for six months beyond stay.
  • Letter of invitation from the host in Mali be it a friend or family.
