Basic Travel Requirements for Mauritians visiting Paraguay

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Paraguayan Visa.


  • Mauritius passport that is valid for at least 3 months beyond stay in Paraguay
  • Passport should have at least one blank page for the visa stamp.
  • Completely filled and signed application form
  • Bank statements that show proof of sufficient funds
  • Letter from the police proofing absence of crime records
  • A copy of airline ticket showing entry and exit from Paraguay is required
  • Two recent 2 x 2 color passport photographs in front view and with a plain background are required.
  • Certificate of vaccination against yellow fever.
  • For children under 18 years, an authorization note signed by both parents along with a copy of parent’s ID is required
  • Application form of minors should be signed by both parents and birth certificate should also be provided. 
  • Applicants' signature on the visa application should match with the passport or visa will be rejected.
