Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Solomon Islander Visa.


  • Original Mauritius passport is valid for 6 months after exiting from the country.
  • The passport should have one blank page for entry stamp.
  • A copy of the visa application form that is correctly filled and signed.
  • One recent passport-size photograph taken with a plain background.
  • Proof of sufficient funds for the duration of stay in the country. This may be in the form of a bank statement which should not be older than 3 months from the period of application.

The Solomon Islands is a sovereign state consisting of six major islands and over 900 smaller islands. The country is well known for its islands, beach resorts, and beautiful scenery. Scuba-diving destinations are accessible in almost all parts of the country. The gigantic Marovo Lagoon and Iron Bottom Sound are two of the more popular destinations for scuba-diving.
