Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Tongan Visa.


  • A valid passport with at least 6 months of validity from the date of return with one blank page for visa issuance.
  • A signed visa application form that is correctly filled
  • A police report showing that the applicant does not have a criminal record.  
  • Two recent (35mm x 45mm) passport photographs that are taken within the last three months.
  • Valid travel documents or travel itinerary showing entry and exit date.
  • A copy of the receipt that shows you have paid fee for the visa application.
  • A bank statement that shows proof of sufficient funds throughout the duration of stay.
  •  A confirmed travel insurance document.
  • Return flight ticket to Tonga.
  • For extension of stay, the applicant is required to contact the immigration department.
