Basic Travel Requirements for Mauritians visiting Vietnam

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Vietnamese Visa.

  • Original copies of correctly filled signed and stamped application form.
  • Copy of colored passport-sized photograph with a white background.
  • Your passport should have a validity of 6 months after exiting from Vietnam.
  • The passport must have at least 1 blank visa page for visa stamp.
  • Applicant should provide a bank statement showing proof that the applicant has enough fund for the duration of stay in Vietnam or a letter from the host clearly indicating full sponsorship is required.
  • Proof of accommodation is needed for this application and it could be a hotel reservation or a letter of invitation from your host stating purpose, duration, and intentions of hosting you while in Vietnam
  • Travel tickets or itinerary showing entry and exit dates.
  • An original certificate of vaccination against yellow fever will be needed to complete your application.
  • For minors traveling alone, their original birth certificate, as well as a signed letter of consent from both parents, is required.

Vietnam Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Business visa is granted to foreigners who are visiting Vietnam for business meetings, negotiating contracts with business partners.
  • A letter of invitation from the company he/she is visiting in Vietnam. 
  • The letter should state the address and give the contact information of the company and the reason for your visit to the country.
  • The letter should also state if the inviting company in Vietnam is taking up the financial expenses of the applicant. 
  • Certificate of business registration of the inviting company is required.
  • Letter from your current employer in Vietnam explaining awareness of leave and the duration of business leave that is required.
  • A yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for this application
