Canada visa requirements for Moroccans

The visitor or tourist visa is issued to Moroccans travelling with the intention of visiting Canada for sightseeing, tourism, and recreation purposes.

A Canadian tourist visa is also known as Canada visitor visa or Canadian Temporary Resident Visa(TRV).

Applicants travelling with the intentions of visiting friends and family are required to obtain a letter of invitation from their host.

The letter should include the full contact details of the host.

Moroccans travelling with the intention of carrying out business transactions can do so on this visa.

Applicants who want to transit to their destination through Canada can do so on this visa.

Applicants are to submit a proof of incentive of returning to morocco at the expiration of their visa.

Proof of hotel reservation or accommodation should be submitted.

Applicants travel itinerary and round trip reservation should be submitted.

Proof of medical fitness and yellow fever vaccination should be submitted.

Moroccans are to show proof of financial sufficiency that covers their duration of stay.

Extension of the visitor's visa is possible. To get an extension, you need to apply before the visa expires.

Applicants who are under the age of 18 are to submit the original copy of their birth certificate. A letter of consent from one or both parents should be provided if the minor would be travelling without either of them.

The Canadian student’s visa is issued to Moroccans travelling to Canada for study purposes

Applicants of the student’s visa should ensure that they have been offered admission into an institution of learning in Canada before initiating the visa application process. 

Applicants offer of admission letter should be submitted.

A Canadian study permit is issued before a Moroccan can study in Canada.

The study permit can be renewed but application of renewal should be done before the expiration of the permit.

Moroccans on this visa are allowed to work part-time during section and full time during holidays.

Bearers of the work visa are allowed to take up paid employment in the country.

Moroccans applying for this visa should ensure that they have been employed by a company in Canada before applying for this visa.

The company in Canada should send a letter to the embassy stating the position in which you have been employed. The contact address of the comp[any should be clearly stated.

Applicants are to submit a copy of their letter of offer of employment to the embassy.

Applicants are required to obtain a work permit in order to be able to work in Canada.

The job offer you have been given must be approved by the Canadian government through the Labour Market Impact Analysis Process.

An offer of employment from a Canadian employer is usually required before the worker may be granted a Temporary Work Permit.

 Before a Canadian company can employ a Moroccan, they may need to apply for and be granted a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA)by ESDC.

The employing company should provide proof that there was no Canadian citizen willing and qualified to take up the job as at when the offer was made.

Applicants are to provide necessary documents that qualifies them for the job in which they have been offered employment

Work Permits may be issued by Canadian immigration officials without the LMIA requirement in a limited number of situations.

Proof that the Canadian employer would not pay the applicant below the Canadian minimum wage should be submitted.

Applicants travelling with minors are to submit the original birth certificate of the minors with a letter of consent signed by both their parents.

Proof of paid visa application fee should be submitted.

Applicants should submit a medical report that shows that the applicant is free from all communicable diseases and a proof of yellow fever vaccination is mandatory.

A diplomatic note from the Moroccan government should be sent to the embassy. The note should contain your position in government, duration, and purpose of your visit to the country.

Asides Head of States, if your purpose of visiting the country is non-official, this visa will not be issued to you.

If you are travelling with a minor, the original copy of the minors' birth certificate should be presented during the visa application process.
