United States of America visa requirements for Moroccans

The American Tourist visa B-2 is issued to Moroccans visiting USA for tourism.

Applicants must be in possession of an international passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from the proposed date of travel. 

Applicants should submit a 2*2 passport-sized photograph

Proof of clean criminal record. This will be in the form of police records.

Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicant's duration of stay should be submitted.

A letter from the applicant's employer in Morocco stating their awareness and duration of the applicants leave.

Proof of incentive of returning to morocco at the expiration of this visa should be submitted by the applicant.

Proof of hotel reservation or accommodation should be submitted.

Applicants who are less than 18 should make sure they have the original copy of their birth certificate.

Extension of this visa is possible but should be done before the expiration of the current visa.

Proof of yellow fever vaccination should be submitted.

The business visa B-1 is issued to Moroccans visiting USA for business purposes.

Bearers of this visa can Consult any of the business associates, solicit services and also negotiate and finalize business contracts.

If you come across any courses or training in the US that is of help to your business, you can attend that too. Ensure your training must get over before your visa expires.

Applicants original passport with at least six months validity from the proposed date of travel.

Applicants should submit a letter that describes the purpose of their trip.

Proof that shows that the applicant has ties to your home country such as family, job contract, lease, or property deed, should be submitted.

This serves as a proof of incentive of returning to Morocco at the expiration of your visa

Proof of clean Criminal records or letter from authorities stating that you do not have prior convictions.

Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicant's duration of stay.

Applicants should submit a letter from their employer stating the purpose and duration of the applicants trip.

A letter from the host company in USA(if any) should be submitted describing the purpose and duration of the applicant's visit should be submitted.

The J2 student's visa is for Moroccans travelling under the following categories: Camp Counselor, Intern, Au Pair and EduCare, Physician, Specialist, Short-term Scholar, Professor and Research, Teacher and Trainee.

These categories of people are not allowed to travel on a visitor visa or the visa waiver programme.

Proof of registration for the course or programme should be submitted.

Proof of financial sufficiency to cover study programme.

Letter of acceptance into the specified institute should be submitted.

Proof of incentive of returning to home country should be submitted.

Relevant certificates that qualify the applicant for the programme should be submitted.

In addition to the DS-160 application form, applicants are required to fill the DS-7002 form.

Do not buy flight tickets until you have received your visa. There is no guarantee that you will be issued the visa you applied for.

Your child or spouse may accompany or join you at a later date with a J-2 visa.

Your minors will be allowed to attend school in the United States on a J-2 visa.

The following are required for Applicants of the M1 student’s visa

The M1 Student's visa allows foreigners to attend a vocational or other recognized non-academic institution other than a language training program.

Applicants must be in possession of a valid international passport.

Only foreigners between the ages of 14 – 79 years require interviews.  

New students on this visa can be issued up to 120 days before the commencement of study but you will not be allowed to enter the country more than 30 days before the start of the study.

If you are a continuing student,  your visa may be issued at any time and you may enter the United States before your classes start.

You will need to present the transcripts or certificates from schools you attended.

Your spouse (married or unmarried) as well as your minor children who intend to stay with you during the duration of your study may apply for M-2 visa.

Your minor children can attend school in the United States while with you.

The USA work visa allows a Moroccans to take up paid employment temporarily in the United States.

Applicants should ensure that they have been offered employment before initiating this visa application process.

A letter from the employing company in USA should be sent to the embassy.

The letter should contain the job specification and duration.

Proof that the Moroccan will not be paid below the national minimum wage.

Certificates that proves that the applicant is qualified for the job should be submitted.

The period of working time should be noted in the employment contract.

There are various types of work visa which include; H, I, L, O and P visa.

Receipt number of Nonimmigrant Worker (I-129 Form) form filed by your employer is required.

Proof of paid visa application fees.

Proof of incentive that you will return to your country after your work with the exception of H-1B and L visa.

If you are applying for an L visa, you will need to have a filled I-129S form which should be taken along with you for your visa interview.

Visa interviews are generally required for between the ages of 14 and 79 years but not for those younger or older than this range.

Spouse and children of various work visa categories can accompany work visa holders.
