Documents Burmese applicants need to provide.
- A Myanmar passport with at least six-month validity from the intended arrival date.
- Duly completed and signed visa application form.
- If the applicant is a minor, the parents/legal guardians have to sign the form.
- Passport-size photographs (2 x 2'') taken in white background.
- Complete travel document.
- Proof of financial support for entire stay in Morocco.
- Proof of accommodation.
- Copy of round-trip flight ticket.
- Documentation showing applicant’s ties to home country, e.g. verification from applicant’s employer.
- A police report showing if the applicant has a criminal record.
- Medical insurance in case of medical emergencies.
- Documentation confirming the purpose of travel.
- Copy of travel itinerary.
Visa type details
Tourist visa
- Myanmars who wish to visit the Kingdom of Morocco for tourism will need to apply for a tourist visa.
- A tourist visa is issued for a period of up to 90 days.
- Applicants are required to provide proof of confirmed hotel reservation, flight bookings and travel itinerary for the entire duration of your stay in Morocco
- Proof of financial sustenance must be provided. This is to show that you can support yourself financially during your stay in Morocco and for your return transportation.
- Visitors are required to provide a formal statement of their financial situation from their banks that is less than 4 weeks old.
- Proof of employment must be provided
- A travel insurance that covers the entire period of your trip to Morocco must be provided.
- Visa is not required for minors under 17 years of age born to one or more Moroccan parent(s) provided that they're registered in their passport(s).
- Visitors are required to declare large quantities of cash at entry into Morocco.
- Exportation of Moroccan currency is prohibited.
- Visitors are not allowed to overstay their visas. If you remain in Morocco beyond 90 days without having requested an extension of stay, you will need to appear before a judge prior to departing Morocco.
- Bear in mind that having a visa does not mean automatic entry into Morocco. The Immigration Officer at the port of entry may refuse entry to any person, if he considers that such a person is unable to fulfill the immigration requirements or that such person's presence in Morocco would be contrary to national interests or security.
- An Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) can be obtained instead of appearing physically at the embassy for a tourist visa, but this option is not available to all nationals.
- Only nationals from Guinea, Congo and Mali can apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization.
- Minors are required to present the original copy of their birth certificate. Minors who are traveling without their parents or with one of their parents are required to have a letter of consent signed by both their parents.
Business visa
- The Moroccan business visa allows Myanmars to engage in business activities while they are in Morocco.
- Myanmars in the country can negotiate and sign business contracts during their time in the country.
- Here are the documents that needs to be provided by applicants:
- A visa application form filled in capital letter.
- An original passport of over six-month validity from entry date.
- Two passport-sized color photograph with white background.
- Copy of the plane tickets and a confirmed hotel reservation.
- Foreigners who visit Morocco with the business visa can attend conferences, trade fairs, and business summits.
- Letter from the applicant’s employer written on the company’s letterhead should be provided. This letter should introduce the applicant, indicate the applicant’s position in the company and clearly state the purpose of visit to Morocco.
- An official invitation letter from the company in Morocco should be provided. The company’s address, the reason for your visit and the duration of your stay should be clearly stated.
- Certificate of business registration of the company in Morocco is required.
- If your employer or the company you are meeting with will be responsible for taking care of your expenses, it should be stated in the invitation letter.
- If you have been in business with the same company previously, proof of this should be presented during the visa application process.
