Application requirements

Documents Namibian applicants need to provide.

  • Passport with at least six-month validity from the intended arrival date.
  • Correct application form duly filled out
  • Four (4) identical photographs must be submitted, They should be ( 35mm x 45mm )in Width and Height.
  • Complete travel document.
  • Proof of financial support for your entire stay in Morocco.
  • Hotel reservation or proof of accommodation
  • Copy of round-trip flight ticket.
  • Documentation showing applicant’s ties to home country
  • If the applicant is a minor, the parents/legal guardians have to sign the form.
  • A police report showing if the applicant has a criminal record.
  • Medical insurance in case of medical emergencies.
  • Documentation confirming the purpose of travel.
  • Copy of travel itinerary.

Visa type details

Tourist visa

  • Tourist visa is issued to visitors who want to explore Morocco for tourism purposes, visiting of friends and family, and recreational purposes.
  • A tourist visa valid for 3 months is issued to applicants who want to visit Morocco for purposes such as visiting family, relaxation, business, and other short term activities.
  • The passport used in the visa application must be valid for at least 90 days from the date of departure from Morocco.
  • Holders of a tourist visa are not required to work or engage in business purposes.
  • Passport must have at least 2 blank visa pages for visa stamp.
  • 2 recent photos (not more than 6 months old) with a white background is required.
  • A signed letter giving stating the reason for the visit to Morocco.
  • A signed letter of invitation from the applicant’s host in Morocco explaining the relationship between the applicant and the host.
  • The letter should also involve the contact information and home address of the host.
  • If the applicant will be staying in a hotel, a copy of the confirmation of the reservation, including the address of the accommodation, your name and the exact dates of your stay is required.
  • Copy of your detailed flight itinerary
  • An original signed letter stating that the host is responsible for the financial support of the applicant during the stay in Morocco is required.
  • An applicant cannot extend the Morrocco tourist Visa.
  • Child’s original birth certificate showing the names of both parents.
  • Original photo ID for both parents, as named on the child’s birth certificate, which includes signatures and a photocopy of these documents.
  • Minors accompanying their parents must provide the birth certificate and authorization letter made by one of the parents in case of not participate in family travel and certified by a notary.

Business visa

  • Business visa is granted to visitors who want to visit Morocco for business purposes such as attending business meetings or conferences, meeting with other business partners, and signing contracts.
  • A completely and correctly filled application form that is signed.
  • Original Namibian passport with at least 6 months validity after the date applicant propose to leave Morocco.
  • Applicants should provide 2 recent Passport photos that are taken within the last 6 months. Passport photos should be taken with a white background.
  • An original, up-to-date, signed letter from your place of employment or study on headed paper with full contact details.
  • The letter should include details of your employment in Morocco and confirm that the applicant will be returning to Namibia after a visit to Morocco.
  • The letter should also indicate that the applicant’s current employer is aware of the business leave.
  • The address of the company should be written in the letter as well as the duration of the visit.
  • Recent correspondence relating to your self-employment from the relevant government authority in Namibia.
  • Recent bank statements for your business bank account covering the 6 month period immediately prior to your application.
  • Photocopies of any original document that the applicant wants to be returned.

Transit visa

  • Travellers who intend to transit through Morocco require a transit visa.
  • You are required to fully complete a visa application form.
  • Your Namibian passport must be valid with a minimum of 1-month validity and at least two unused visa pages.
  • A copy of an onward ticket to your destination from Morocco must be submitted.
  • You also need to submit a copy of your flight itinerary.
  • You are required to complete the immigration card on arrival in Morocco.
  • You must provide proof of your sufficient funds for your stay in Morocco.
  • The transit visa does not permit its holder to take up employment whilst in Morocco
  • You are required to provide a police record showing no criminal record. If you have a pending police case, you may not be granted entry into Morocco.
  • You must also provide proof of payment of the visa fee.
