Canada Visitor Visa Eligibility & Requirements
The Canadian visitors' visa is issued to Nigeriens visiting Canada for tourism, sightseeing or vacation purposes. Nigeriens who have the intention of engaging in business activities in the country can visit the country on this visa. Nigeriens can also transit through Canada on this visa to their destination country. The visitors' visa can also be referred to as the Canadian Temporary resident visa. Applicants visiting friends, family and relatives can do so on this visa. If the purpose of travel is to visit a friend or relative, a letter of invitation would be required. The letter should contain the full contact address of the host and a valid means of identification. Employed applicants should provide a letter from their employer stating their awareness and duration of the applicants leave. Applicants should provide proof of financial sufficiency that covers the duration of stay. Proof of hotel reservation or accommodation should be submitted. Applicant travel itinerary and a round trip reservation are required. An incentive that shows that the applicant has the willingness to return to his home country at the expiration of his visa should be submitted. Proof of paid visa application fee is mandatory. Proof of medical fitness and Yellow Fever vaccination should be submitted. The visitors' visa can be extended but the application for the extension has to be done before the expiration of the visa. Applicants below the age of 18 are to submit a copy of their original birth certificate alongside a letter of consent from one or both parents. If the purpose of the trip is for business, a letter from your host company in Canada stating the nature and duration of business should be provided. Proof of previous business dealings is required. Proof of company registration or certificate should be submitted by both companies. Applicants transiting through Canada must be in possession of the visa of their destination country. Canada Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
Nigeriens who intend to study courses in Canada are the recipients of this visa. Applicants should ensure that they have been offered admission into an institute of learning in Canada before initiating the visa application process. Applicants passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from the proposed date of travel should be submitted. Two passport-sized pictures are also required with your name and date of birth written on the back. Applicant's letter of offer of admission should be submitted. Nigeriens would require a study permit in order to be able to study in Canada. Once you have a Canadian study permit, you can apply to renew it from within Canada if you decide to continue your studies. The study permit enables full time registered students to work part-time when school is in section and full time during holidays. You can apply for a Canadian study permit either online or through a paper application, which can be obtained from the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) website. The applicant would require a biometric registration during visa application. Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicant's duration of stay should be submitted. Proof of part or full payment of tuition fee should be provided. Applicants should submit a proof of clean criminal record in the form of a police report to the embassy. Proof of incentive of returning to Niger at the completion of your course is required. The applicant would be required to submit certificates and transcripts that qualifies him for the course in which he has been offered admission. Canada Work Visa Eligibility & Requirements
The Canadian work visa is issued to Nigeriens who have been offered employment in Canada. Bearers of the work visa are allowed to take up paid employment in the country. Applicants should ensure that they have been offered a job in Canada before initiating this visa process. Applicants are to submit their letter of job offer to the Canadian embassy. A letter from the employing company in Canada should be provided. The letter should have the address of the company, the position you have been employed and the duration of your visit. The Canadian government through the Labour Market Impact Analysis Process must approve the job been offered to the applicant before the issuance of this visa. Applicants would require a Canadian work permit before they would be allowed to work in Canada. Proof that no citizen was willing and qualified for the job as at when it was offered to Nigerien should be submitted. Proof that the applicant would not be paid below the Canadian minimum wage should be is required. The employing company in Canada will be required to apply for government permission to hire outside Canada. Once this permission has been granted, the designated employee must apply for and receive his or her work permit. Applicants travelling with minors are to submit a copy of their original birth certificate alongside a letter of consent from one or both parents. Proof of payment of visa application fee is mandatory. Proof of medical fitness and yellow fever vaccination should be submitted. Applicants of the Canadian work visa must have a good command of English Language.
