Cyprus Medical Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This medical visa allows its holders to gain entry into Cyprus for medical purposes.
- The applicant is to present a medical report issued by a reputable Nigerien hospital stating the type of ailment and the reason it is best treated in Cyprus.
- A document confirming the treatment appointment by the medical institution in Cyprus and the duration of the treatment is to be provided.
- Certificate of employment from your employer in Congo including information on leave of absence is to be submitted at the Cypriot Embassy.

- The applicant is to provide an enrollment certificate which allows them to attend courses in Cyprus.
- Proof of payment of acceptance fees and school fees are also to be required.

- The Cyprus tourist visa is for applicants traveling to Cyprus for tourist reasons.
- This visa does not allow you to migrate to Cyprus.
- It is also known as a Short stay visa.
- Persons who are traveling to Cyprus to visit family, relatives, and friends are also eligible for this visa.
- The holders of this visa can enter and exit Cyprus once or multiple times.
- The duration of your stay will not exceed 90 days in any half of the year from the date of the first visit.
- For a visit to family and friends, a letter of invitation is required.
- The letter has to be duly signed and completed by the host and should include his/her contact details, house address, and occupation and it should also be signed by the Migration Department.
- A copy of hotel reservations confirmed by the hotel manager would be needed.
- An itinerary of travel arrangements showing the arrival date and intended duration of stay must be provided.
- The tickets should be purchased before the visa is issued.
- The visa for the return country should be valid for at least three months beyond the intended duration of stay.
- Visitors to Cyprus are to have original passports valid for at least three months beyond the period of validity of the visa issued(you will have to make photocopies of the passports too).
- A bank statement is necessary to prove that the applicant is financially capable of covering their expenses during their duration of stay in Cyprus.
- If a minor is to enter Cyprus unaccompanied, he/she is expected to provide a statement giving consent which must be duly signed by both parents, then signed by the mayor of their area.
- Passport photos of the minor and his/her parents are to be submitted.
- The processing time takes about 10 to 15 days.

- The airport transit visa(ATV) is for travelers who are making short stops in Cyprus.
- This visa allows its holders to alight from an airplane in a Cypriot airport and board another flight going to another destination.
- You are not to leave the airport transit area.
- You can be in the state for a maximum of 5 days.
- A copy of a flight ticket to the final destination country is to be submitted during the visa application.
- The visa of your destination country is to be also submitted.
- This visa is valid for 2 days.
- This visa may be issued for one transit, or exceptionally for several transits.
- You must leave Cyprus before the expiration of this visa.
- This visa can not be extended.
- You are not to use this visa for business, educational or tourist purposes.

- The Cyprus work visa is for visa applicants who are traveling to Cyprus for employment reasons.
