• The visitor visa is issued to foreign nationals who intend to enter the Republic of Armenia for tourism visiting relatives or friends, business purposes, medical treatment or for recreational purposes.
• The visitor visa is issued for a single entry into Armenia but applicants may also apply for a multiple-entry visa.
• If you are visiting friends or relatives residing in Armenia, you are to obtain a letter of invitation from them. The letter should state the purpose of your travel, your relationship with your host, how long you intend to stay in Armenia and the contact details of your host.
• If you are travelling for business purposes, you must present a letter of invitation from the partner company in Armenia. This letter must clearly state the purpose of your travel, how long you will stay in Armenia and who will be responsible for your expenses while in the country.
• The invitation letter must be approved by the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a notarized copy must be presented at the embassy where your visa application will be processed.
