  • Citizens of Nigeria can Visit Cameroon for a period of 90 days without a visa.
  • Intending visitors are required to have a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of departure, even though the country is visa-free for Nigerians. The passport should have two blank pages.
  • Visitors are required to have a return or onward ticket, as well as proof that they have sufficient funds to spend in the country which can be a recent bank statement.
  • Travellers are required to show proof of accommodation for their stay in Cameroon.
  • Nigerians visiting Cameroonwho are below the age of 18 must show travel authorization from their parents or guardians.
  • Tourists are required to show proof of yellow fever vaccination. They are advised to be vaccinated at least 10 days before travelling to Cameroon.
  • Visitors will have to pay an airport fee of XAF 10,000 when departing Cameroon on an international flight, and  XAF 500 when exiting the country on a local flight.
  • The is no restriction on the import and export of foreign currency, however, Importation of the local currency of amounts above  XAF 20,000 will be declared on arrival.
