Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Bahamian Visa.

  • Duly accomplished visa application form filled by the applicant.
  • A valid passport with a validity of six months beyond your stay in the Bahamas.
  • Two passport photographs size (50mm x 40mm).
  • Visa fee receipt.
  • Travel documents, round trip ticket or itinerary.

The Bahamas is a country which is located along the Atlantic Ocean. The country is made up of over 700 islands and 2400 cays, some of which are uninhabited while some others are packed with resorts. The Bahamas is known for its waterways which makes it an ideal destination for scuba diving, snorkeling, water sports, kayaking, deep-sea fishing, kiteboarding, and wild dolphin excursions. Nature lovers are not left out of the fun in the Bahamas as there are various nature walks which can be explored.
 
The tourism industry in the Bahamas plays an important role in the Bahamian economy. The industry is responsible for over 60% of the country’s GDP and responsible for the employment of over half of the country’s workforce. The Bahamas was visited by over 5.8 million visitors in 2012, and since then, the number of tourist visits has been on the rise.
 
Foreigners must declare currency of up to $10,000 of currency on entry and exit from the country. Tourists could be deported or imprisoned for the possession or trafficking of drugs.
 
Nationals of Antigua and Barbuda, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States can stay in The Bahamas for up to 8 months without a visa.

Bahamas Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is issued to the Philippines traveling to the Bahamas for business purposes.
  • A valid passport with a validity of six months beyond your stay in the Bahamas.
  • An invitation letter from the host/organization.
  • Two passport photographs size in white background.
  • A duly accomplished business visa application form.
  • Health insurance.
  • Holders of this visa can attend conferences, seminars and sign contracts.
  • You must not be involved in illegal business.
  • A proof of sufficient funds to finance your stay in the Bahamas.
  • Proof of accommodation/hotel.

Bahamas Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is issued to the Philippines traveling to the Bahamas for studies.
  • A completely filled Bahamas study visa application form.
  • Original, signed Philippines passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
  • Two Passport Photographs with a white background, taken within the last 6 months. You may also choose to upload a photo to your order for us to print. There is a surcharge associated with this service.
  • Travel Itinerary. Copy of round trip tickets or itinerary for multiple entry requests, applicants are required to provide copies of all flight itineraries of trips they plan on taking.
  • If the applicant is not able to provide more than one flight itinerary, the High Commission may not be able to grant a multiple entry visa.
  • Payment of tuition fees.
  • Hotel Reservations. Copy of confirmed hotel reservations.
  • Proof of Sufficient Funds. 
  • A police certificate showing you have no criminal record. This is obtained from your local police station.
  • A letter of acceptance from the university in the Bahamas.
  • Proof of transcript from previous schools.
  • Payment of visa fees.

Bahamas Work Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is issued to Philippines traveling to Bahamas to work in an organization.
  • Two passport photographs with a white background.
  • A valid passport with a validity of six months beyond your stay in the Bahamas.
  • Educational qualifications is required.
  • A letter of employment from the organization in Bahamas.
  • Sufficient funds to finance your stay while working in the Bahamas.
  • A curriculum vitae.
  • You must have a good intention for working in Bahamas.
