Basic Travel Requirements for Filipinos visiting Eritrea
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Eritrean Visa.
- A completed visa application form.
- The passport photo must not be older than six months.
- Four passport photographs size (50mm x 50mm) should be submitted.
- Original Passport or Travel document with at least 6 months remaining validity on the date of travel and have at least 2 visa pages clear of any markings.
- You must be in good health condition.
- A clear scan of the information pages of your signed, machine-readable passport. Provide the pages of your current passport showing your photo, personal details, and passport issue and expiry dates. It must be valid for six months beyond the expiry date of the visa.
- Provide a previous passport if any.
- Hotel bookings for the duration of your visit.
- Flight reservations(s) for the country of your visit and return ticket.
- Covering letter mentioning the details of the applicant, travel, and details of the other members traveling with you.
- Specify the type of visa you want to apply.
- You must have sufficient financial means to support your travel.

- One completed Eritrea business visa application form.

- A company business letter should be provided.
- An invitation letter from the organization should be provided.
- Evidence of sufficient means to finance your support travel.

Eritrea Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visa is issued to the Philippines traveling to Eritrea for tourism.
- Original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay in Eritrea, with at least one blank passport page available for Eritrean visa stamp. Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for Eritrea visas.
- One original Eritrean tourist visa application form, properly completed and signed, plus one copy.
- Proof of accommodation/ hotel reservation.
- Two recent 2 x 2 passport type photographs in color, front view and with a plain/white background.
- An invitation letter from the host is required.
- Supplemental Immigration Form.
