Basic Travel Requirements for Filipinos visiting Sweden

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Swedish Visa.


  • Duly Signed Sweden visa application form is required.
  • Original, signed Philippine passport valid at least 3 months.
  • The passport should have at least two blank pages for the entry/exit stamp.
  • Two passport photographs with a white background (35mm x 45mm).
  • A copy of round trip tickets or itinerary.
  • A medical travel insurance 
  • Copies of bank statements from the past 3 months.
  • Copy of the Hotel Reservations or accommodation
  • If visiting friends or family, you must provide a letter of invitation with the contact information of the host and visitor, purpose and duration of the visit, confirmation of accommodation including the address, signature, and date. 
  • You will also need to provide proof of the host's status in Sweden ie. copy of their Sweden passport's information page. If they are not a citizen of Sweden, copies of their Sweden residence permit and their national passport's information pages.
  • The visa collection time is 9:00 am to 2:00 pm (Mondays - Fridays) except for public holidays.
