Basic Travel Requirements for Filipinos visiting Turkey
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Turkish Visa.
- A completed visa application form for Turkey
- Two passports photograph size (35mm x 45mm) with a white background.
- Original Philippine passport or travel document with at least 6 months validity on the date of travel and have at least 2 visa pages clear of any markings.
- Provide the pages of your current passport showing your photo, personal details, and passport issue and expiry dates, it must be valid for six months beyond the expiry date of the visa.
- Two photocopies of the first and last page of the Philippine passport.
- Hotel reservation(s)/accommodation for the duration of your visit.
- Flight reservations(s) for the country of your visit and return ticket.
- Applicant's most recent monthly bank statement. Personal bank statement of the last three months in original with sufficient funds.
- Your current details. If Employed (A letter from your employer on company letterhead), Self-employed (Include a copy of your business license), Student (Submit an official letter from your school), Retired (Submit proof of your retirement fund).
- Proof of travel insurance with the Certificate of Insurance and the table of benefits.
- Travel itinerary (travel reservation to and from the country/area in your name, not a ticket).

- The Turkish business visa type is issued to the Philippines who intend to travel or have been invited to Turkey to partake in business ventures.
- Hold a Philippine passport valid at least six months on entry with two blank visa pages for entry and exit stamps.
- A completely filled business application form.
- A business visa is usually valid for 90 days.
- The documentation needed to travel on to your next destination.
- An onward/return flight ticket.
- Proof of financial insurance during your visit to Turkey.
- Medical insurance is required.

Turkey Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Turkish student visa type is issued to the Philippines who intend to study or have been given an admission into a university in Turkey
- A copy of your "Letter of Acceptance" from a Turkish university.
- Provide a Philippine passport valid at least six months on entry with two blank visa pages.
- A completely filled study application form.
- A Study visa is valid for 90 days.
- A commitment to leave Turkey at the end of your course.
- Two Philippine passport photographs (35mm x 45mm) with a white background.
- Proof of financial insurance during your stay in Turkey.
- Medical insurance is required.
Turkey Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Turkish tourist visa is issued to the Philippines who intend to travel to Turkey for tourism, relaxation or visitation.
- Provide a Philippine passport valid at least six months on entry with two blank visa pages.
- A completely filled tourist visa application form.
- A Tourist visa is valid for 90 days.

Turkey Transit Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- A transit visa is issued to the Philipines who want to pass through Turkey to their destination country.
- A completed Turkish transit visa application form, travel insurance, proof of occupational status, etc.
- Passport should be valid for at least another six months on the date you reach Turkey.
- Two identical photos that comply with the Turkish visa photo requirements (35mm x 45mm).
- Proof that you have enough money for your stay/transit in Turkey, and in your destination country.
- Present a visa or other document that authorizes you to enter your destination country.
- Proof of accommodation in Turkey.
- Police clearance certificate. This document should show that you have not been involved in any criminal activities in recent years.

Is it safe to drink tap water in Turkey?
