Entry Requirements

  • Rwandans can get visa on their arrival in Cambodia and the maximum duration of stay is 30 days.
  • If you choose to obtain your visa upon arrival, you will need to make an inquiry from your airline to confirm if boarding is allowed without a visa or not.
  • Applicant’s passport must be valid for six months from the date of entry into the country.
  • Passports must have at least one blank page for visa stamps.
  • Passports should not be frayed, torn, separated, or altered in any other way.
  • Passport photographs must be taken within the last three months and printed on high-quality photo paper.
  • Passport photograph size must be two inches by two inches in size and taken against an all white background. 
  • The passport photographs must provide the full frontal view of your head with your face centered in the middle and displaying a neutral expression. Passport holders are not allowed to wear eyeglasses and head wear except for religious purposes.
  • Rwandans can apply for Electronic visa for tourism purposes only.
  • Rwandans applying for e-Visa are required to supply a passport scan, digital passport photographs and credit/debit card or Paypal account details.
  • Cambodian e-Visa is valid for 90 days after it has been issued.
  • Cambodia e-Visa may be extended for another 30 days total by contacting the local police station or immigration office.
  • No sticker will be issued to citizens applying for the e-Visa.
  • Processing duration for the Cambodian e-Visas can be as fast as 24 hours.
  • Rwandans are required to print out 2 copies of their e-Visa certificate. 
  • Visitors are required to give one copy of the e-Visa certificate to the immigration department as your travel visa upon arrival in Cambodia and one copy upon departure.
  • When you travel with an e-Visa, you can only enter Cambodia through the following Ports of Entry: Phnom Penh International Airport, Siem Reap International Airport, Poi Pet (Banteay Meanchey), Bavet (Svay Rieng), Cham Yeam (Koh Kong), Tropaeng Kreal Border Post (Stung Treng) and Sihanoukville International Airport.
  • No departure tax is needed to leave Cambodia.
  • Direct flight is available from Kigali International Airport to Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
  • Cambodia is famous for World Heritage site, Angkor Wat temple complex  which is one of the largest religious monuments in the world, on a site measuring 162.6 hectares. 
  • Cambodia has 2 seasons and a tropical climate with warm temperatures throughout the year. The wet season runs from December through April while the dry season is between January and February.
