Basic Travel Requirements for Rwandans visiting Chile

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Chilean Visa.


  • A fully completed Chile Visa application form.
  • Travelers are expected to apply for a visa from a Chilean Diplomatic Mission.  
  • A Rwandan passport valid for six months 
  • An official letter  written by the employer of the applicant. 
  • Two identical photograph passports (45mmx45mm)
  • A police clearance certificate
  • A proof of a Chile’s arrival and return ticket
  • A certificate of employment and pay slips not more three months. 
  • A letter of invitation from the host company or sponsor 
  • A proof of hotel reservation. 
  • A proof of financial status
