Basic Travel Requirements for Rwandans visiting French Polynesia

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a French Polynesian Visa.


  • Rwanda passport that is valid for at least three months after exiting from French Polynesia.
  • Passport should have at least two blank pages for visa stamp.
  • An application form that is completely filled and signed by the applicant.
  • Ticket itinerary showing exit and entry dates.
  • Applicants are required to provide proof of accommodation.
  • 2 recent (35 by 40 mm) passport photographs with white background.
  • Photocopy of front and back page of a valid passport.
  • Medical travel insurance of at least 30,000 Euros covering accidents, illness or medical emergency purposes is required.
  • The medical insurance has to cover the entire duration of the trip including the date of arrival & departure.
  • Bank statement showing sufficient funds for the duration of stay in French Polynesia, should not be older than three months.
